What is a Full Arch Implant?
Unlike other dental restorations, a full arch dental bridge retained with dental implants allows you to enjoy having the next best option to your own natural teeth. This process does not involve individually placed implants into your jawbone, it is often completed using four to six implants to support a full arch of teeth. In many cases, the procedure can be completed in as little as one day followed by a healing process.

After your surgical placement of a full arch bridge, we will send you home for healing. The healing process is more involved than simple soft tissue healing. Healing involves the growth of bone around the implants in a process known as osseointegration, or the fusion of bone to the implanted device. This can take several months. You will need to eat soft foods and proceed with caution until the bone has healed.

Most of our patients are good candidates for a full arch dental implant. We can help you determine if this procedure is appropriate for you. A good candidate for a full arch implant is missing most or all of the teeth along the dental arch. The main criteria we look for is the ability to heal at a reasonable rate. There are multiple problems that can effect a persons ability to heal. We can discuss these possibilities at your consultation. It is also important that you have enough bone mass and structure, as well as healthy gums. This can help ensure that the restoration works well for you and can also help minimize any complications that may occur during the recovery period. Good oral hygiene is also a must, as it can help make sure the entire procedure is a success.

How Are Impacted Wisdom Teeth Removed?
An impacted tooth is a tooth that is still mostly or completely beneath the gum line. This situation most often occurs when removing wisdom teeth, but there are a few rare occasions that non-wisdom teeth are impacted.

Impacted wisdom teeth must be removed surgically. Our professional will make an incision in your gum line and begin cutting out the tooth. The tooth may also be broken into pieces after the incision is made to make removal easier. Once the tooth is removed, our team will suture the incision site. This type of tooth removal requires more stringent aftercare procedures to prevent infection and control pain, but our team will give you a detailed plan and provide you with pain medication.

Am I a Candidate for a Facelift?
Candidates for a facelift have loose, sagging skin on the face and neck. You should have some elasticity remaining in your skin. This elasticity is crucial for ensuring that your skin can conform to its new contours. A strong bone structure ensures that your skin is provided with the support it needs. You will also need to be in good health to receive treatment. A facelift requires surgery, so good health is essential for ensuring that you heal properly.
